The International Society of Arboriculture is the highest standard of tree care recognized worldwide and is a required certification by most cities in the US to perform tree work . My ISA tree climber specialist credential means that I have been tried and tested by tree climbers from the ISA. My knots, climbing knowledge, and safety practices have passed the bar set high from the international community of ISA tree climber specialists. My ISA certified arborist credential means that I have been tested on the science and physics involved in tree work. Tree work involves much more than being able to climb and to operate a chainsaw. The knowledge of tree biology helps with proper diagnoses and the laws of physics at play on rigging ropes, gear, limbs, angles, friction, and kilonewtons are all at work so it’s vital for everyone’s safety and the Tree’s safety that an ISA certified arborist is caring for your trees.
