It is a soft rubber material that puts pressure on the sealant giving it an opportunity to fill cracks and voids and create a better bond with the pavement surface. The downward pressure of the squeegee forces the material deep down into the pours of the asphalt, yet its soft enough not to strip the material off the surface. Applying the sealcoat by this method ensures that the sealcoat will be pushed into every crack and every pour of the asphalt. We also use a black beauty slag as a filler. The black beauty slag prolongs wear and tear of pavement and also helps slippage when wet for better traction. It will not dissolve with harsh road chemicals and has an excellent bonding power with low roll out and high compaction resistance.
