January 10, 2024 at 4:25 amLonnie’s crew was out in late winter of 2023 to trim about 20 mature oak trees at my home. They missed a couple of limbs, one over the house, which I didn’t notice until there were leaves on the trees. I contacted Lonnie and he said that they would have to wait until fall, and they would definitely come out and finish the job. However, a branch fell off the dead limb over my house and put a hole in the roof. This caused over $13,000 in damages as the roof leaked and caused interior damage to my house. I’ve contacted Lonnie multiple times to remove the remaining limbs that they missed, but what I get is the typical “salesman” response. Yes, I’ll send somebody out. We’ll take care of you. He always sounds nice and helpful, but Lonnie never calls back and no one ever comes. I was being pro-active to get my trees trimmed before I had a problem, only to still have a problem because Avery’s Tree Service didn’t trim the trees well. I will now have to hire someone else to come out and finish the job Lonnie’s team didn’t do.
