Fraud contractor Alert : This post is both a warning to potential clients looking at the landscaping company Montes alto for their projects. This contractor took our money and never delivered materials nor finished the project per the signed contract. Unfortunately, when we tried to serve him a lawsuit we discovered he has been operating under a fake name and address and our skip tracers could not locate his real address. I would like to urge people to stay away from him and his company as he is a very smooth talker and an egregious liar who fraudulently claimed to have a contractors insurance and license. Funny part is we were recommended to him by a couple colleagues. This was our first home and our first big project and we have learnt a very bitter and expensive lesson. Our process server tried serving the lawsuit several times to the address mentioned on the contract but this man is still out there operating a business under a fake address and potentially a fake name (I have currently filed a fraud criminal report with the San Jose police department as per their recommendation). DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
