GreenOne Landscapes LLC / Jose Serrano Mendoza If you are considering having Jose do work for you, I strongly recommend getting every detail in writing before paying any money, reviewing estimates carefully, and using a written contract that clearly outlines the scope, pricing, delivery dates, payment terms, and responsibility for materials/plants held off-site. In May 2026, Jose arranged for me to purchase 18 pinyon pine trees through a tree seller at his business location in Littleton. I paid a $5,000 deposit toward the trees, and Jose took possession of the trees at his landscaping yard until he could deliver/plant them at my property. I was repeatedly assured the trees would be kept alive until planting. By July 2026, the trees had not been delivered or planted as originally planned. After delays, a missed scheduled delivery/planting date, and lack of response to calls/texts, I learned that many of the trees were dead. Jose then agreed in writing to deliver the remaining live trees and refund $2,500. Two days later, he changed his position and said he would only deliver whatever trees remained alive with no refund. I am currently out the $5k Deposit and now left to pursue legal action to try and recoup this money back. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone considering working with this company to look at other options.

Jose ‘ghosted’ me. After meeting with Jose, we entered into a handshake agreement for Green One Landscape to start providing services for my yard. As freezing weather approached, I waited, waited, and waited for Jose to show up to blow out my sprinklers. After several phone calls, he finally showed up, took care of the sprinklers and promised he’d be back in November for a fall clean-up. Again I waited and waited. He never showed and stopped answering my calls. If you’re looking for reliable service, Green One isn’t it!

Stay away from Jose and green one landscapes. I was on his schedule for him to build me a paver patio and he repeatedly no-showed on me. Then after not speaking with him for a month he told me he could have a crew here 2 Days Later. Really? So he can no show on me yet again? At that point I asked him for two references. He gave me one and the guy was happy with the work but unhappy about dealing with Jose and when I asked Jose for a second reference he refused and said if I wasn't convinced after the first reference I should find someone else to do the work. He's busy like every other landscaper but he had the cheapest price so I got on his schedule back in March and that was a total mistake. I pulled my deck out expecting him to build my patio the first week of May but here we are in July and I have no patio. Everybody else I've talked to is booked out until at least September so I have no outdoor living space this summer thanks to Jose. Hire somebody who follows through on their word and shows up when they say they will.
