Treyver Landscaping (Rey Sr) was supposed to fix a leak in my irrigation system. He replaced a sprinkler head and a few of the other minor parts above ground, which had minor & minimal leaks but didn’t fix the main problem. He dug a small area next to the flooded main valve box and stated the pipes underground had no leaks nor did the valve. He (and another man) worked in my lawn for no more than two hours max and bought the parts he replaced and was charging me $1400 and another $400 to come redig the next day because he didn’t find and fix the leak. He said he’d replace underground pipelines (that had no leaks) because he didn’t know what was causing the flooding near the valve. He kept insisting “I had no leak” despite my meter increasing in numbers while the sprinklers were off. (And later, I discovered thru another contractor while the main water valve was off). Rey Sr overcharged me and under-delivered and was intentionally being deceiving and dishonest with his pricing, as I later found out after getting several other quotes from contractors who looked at the job he did. His son, (who was out of town, so he sent his dad) has not replied to my calls or texts. I told the dad I would not be having them “come back to redig” as he stated he would to continue to try to fix the issue and charge me even more. Very dishonest, very disappointing and lacks integrity. There’s so much more I can write here from a personal standpoint (not just professional or rather unprofessional), but I will leave it at that. I already reported it to the Handyman App in which I found them and plan to report to yelp, BBB and other sources. Rey Sr acted like he was giving me a good deal or a break with this outrageous price “to help me out” as a fellow Filipino & since my father just passed away and I had a lot of expenses and am going through a lot. How can you take advantage of someone’s misfortune, heartbreak and just because I am female and relying on your so-called expertise to help me? The other contractors I called afterwards to come and assess the work they did and to find the leak felt so very bad for me and asked who this person was. In literally one minute, they found the problem and scheduled to repair it and did so and it took one hour and cost me hardly Nothing!
