We had BN for our HOA for years but started to have problems with their office manager, Erin. They have a Net14 policy which is extreme but it's their policy so we tried and make it work. When I stepped in as President we had a new management company, Sentry that weren't paying this on time, totally on them. When I found out about it and all the late fees, I stepped in to try and work it out. Erin unfortunately can be quite emotional which didn't help matters and she doesn't seem to have a handle on their accounting system. There were many back and fourths showing they paid and she would disagree until she "found" it. Not all her fault but she was a hinderance for sure. Finally moved to another company, HOAMCO which has been outstanding. There was 1 issue with a check that bounced although there was money in the account which was paid promptly. The HOA sent this project out to bid, and Bosque was 49.55% and 55.39% higher and they were doing less work, so we politely sent them a letter discounting service and a thank you. Erin then sent threatening letters to just me saying we still owed them for a bill 4 months ago. Initially she refused to work with HOAMCO who paid the bill and threatened us with collections. She was just nasty through it all and when we tried to contact the owner Tom, he wouldn't respond. We were told by Erin to stop that as he wasn't going to. We spent a week going back and forth only to find out the charge had been paid. You will get lots of excuses but never an admission of wrongdoing. This woman will double down every time and the company ownership lets this happens and will not respond. AVOID at all cost!
