This company is a complete nightmare. Johnny is the owner and his girlfriend Jessica is the “office manager.” There is no “managing” of any kind taking place in this business and you can’t trust anything that is said. In the beginning of the process, I was unsure of what I wanted for materials and Jessica was always either slow to respond or just didn’t bother to answer my emails so I could make an educated decision on what I wanted. I wanted to discuss things over the phone because it would have been quicker but she never answered my calls. She ended up cancelling on me 4 days before I was scheduled for the job and then ghosted me when I tried to reschedule and finalize plant material. She claimed they needed to have all materials ordered, however when she scheduled me, she told me that Friday they were going to just do the removal of rock and plant material and a week later, they would finish the job with the new rock and new plants. I had no idea things needed to be decided that week because there was NO communication. They were providing no direction with plant material or design, they wanted me to tell them what I wanted and where I wanted it placed. I don’t do landscape design which is why I am hiring a company. I ended up contacting Johnny with the main number to move the process along and it was like pulling teeth. He told me that Jessica misunderstood the process and timing of how the job was going to take place and acted like he was going to take care of everything. He talks a big game and has no follow through- constant lies and gives excuse after excuse. Instead of owning up when I called him out on his lack of responses and coordination, he just blamed Jessica for not emailing or following up. He finally claimed he was going to come out to finalize everything Monday at 4:00. At 4:30, he said he was about 30 mins away and would call when he got close. Never heard anything. Towards the end of the evening, I called again. He didn’t even answer. I called Jessica to see if I could get an update and left a message. She avoided my call and accidentally called me right back. After one ring, she hung up so I know she just saw me call and accidentally hit my number. The next day, I called Johnny back and he gave me excuses about why he didn’t show and said he’d 100% be out that night at 4:30 if I still wanted the job done. I told him that was fine as long as I wasn’t wasting my time and energy- he assured me I wasn’t. At 4:30, he said he was on my side of town and would be there soon. Then he claimed he was 15-20 mins away. At that point, I knew he was just playing a game and making me think he was coming instead of having the balls to straight up tell me he wasn’t coming. He never responded again. Honestly have no idea why he would waste his own time talking in circles and thoroughly discussing the job with no intention to complete it. All he needed to do was literally say “we don’t feel like doing this job.” If you are incapable of being up front with customers and can’t handle your business, don’t own a business. Just shows he clearly isn’t as busy as he claims and has time to waste. Has no idea how to run a company or treat customers. I should have just moved on but it is getting late in the summer and needed the job done. I have been dealing with them since April and it’s now July. Spend your money elsewhere and save yourself the time and headache.
