VERY disappointed! We only wanted some dead limbs trimmed off the tree in our backyard and some limbs hanging over the house. Instead the tree was completely hacked to pieces claiming it was diseased. Even if that was the case, we would not have wanted anything that extensive done. The kids did all the work and dad just dropped them off with instructions, which were really not followed. The tree was my favorite thing about the backyard and it now looks pathetic and we have no shade to cool the house and yard. It's almost 100 F outside right now. It will probably take years for it to be able provide the kind of shade we want. The second day dad left again and I had to constantly monitor what was done so they wouldn't completely butcher my favorite tree in front. I only wanted them to remove some dead limbs and limbs that were reaching way too far over the driveway and next to the house. They almost started cutting into the tree and I had to stop them. Most of the kids were very lazy and start around playing games and singing. It was very hot outside and they didn't bring any water. They kept asking me for soda, apple juice, orange juice and sweet tea. I don't have any of that stuff around. I gave them some ice water and told them to call their dad to bring them some water when he came back. They also asked if they could use my husband's expensive radio that he had accidentally left out where they could see. The kids also used some of our tools and ladders and before they left, they just left them laying around without asking us where they should be put back. I was told they would clean up before they left but they did not clean up the back yard very well and it is a mess. They also didn't clean up all the wood chips from the chipper that flew all over the front yard. Any time I asked one of the kids to do something, they whined obnoxiously about it. Whining to customers, Seriously!! They did not let us know they were leaving and when I found out they were gone, I ended up having to put all the tools and ladders away and clean up the yard. The cost for this poor service was obscene. When I asked to negotiate the price because of the poor job and the smaller the scope of the project ended up being because we did not want them to touch the tree in the front after what they did to the back. The company refused to negotiate and I ended up cleaning up all their personal garbage after they left. I will also have to finish cleaning up the yard before I can mow because the amount of tree trash that was left in the yard would break my lawn mower if I just tried to mow.
