Nick did a good job cutting down some broken branches from a tree. We were happy with that work; however, he promised he would be back by the end of the day to remove the branches. This did not happen. My husband called and left a voice message that night and next morning..on top of texting. Mind you, I had wrote a check before the job was complete. The next afternoon I had sent him a text. No response. Afraid he would not complete the job, I had put a stop payment on the check. The city came and removed all the branches. Then, we finally heard back once the check was cashed and Nick was notified of the stop payment. He called both my husband and I liars because we had said we had to have the branches removed (yes-he didn't do it, and the city had to remove them). The quote was verbal and he never gave us an invoice. He charged us the same price as the original verbal quote, even though he did not remove the branches. When I asked him for an itemized invoice, he threatened that the price would be more and refused to send an invoice. Someone who has their own company should be friendly, professional and able to communicate with the customer. I was able to find his full name and he has criminal record. Next time we need tree removal services we will definitely be going through a more reputable and professional company.
